Fast & Furious 8 and Paul Walker

Fast & Furious 8 on the verge of releasing and the movie has taken every step to make the film, more attractive than ever. But still, the absence of Paul Walker is deeply felt everywhere. There were a large number of Paul Walker fans who were into Fast & Furious series because of him. After Paul Walker’s tragic death in 2013 in a car crash, the movie Furious 7 took a unique step to offer a touching closing scene paid a touching tribute to the star.  Paul’s career was started with the first Fast and the Furious movie and ended with it too. To complete the shooting of the Furious 7 the Walker brothers worked as body doubles to help finish the filming after Paul, and manage to Reach out Worldwide, the late movie star’s disaster relief nonprofit charity. With Walker brothers’ involvement, there was a strong speculation that they may be part f the next installment.  But it was not specified whether to bring back Brian O’Conner would play out in Furious 8.

With his character of Brian O’Conner’s retirement from the series, Vin Diesel and his team were in difficulty to take the decision to introduce a new character to take place the second-in-command role or not, a character which Walker did perfectly for six movies.

Furious 7 was the goodbye of the late Paul Walker to his fans. When the next Fast and Furious sequel was officially announced last summer, Vin Diesel said something, very touching:  “7 was for Paul, 8 is from Paul“. “Paul used to say that 8 was guaranteed, and in some ways when your brother guarantees something you feel that it has to come to pass,”

Then, came the news that Cody Walker may return in Fast & Furious 8. but there was also news that he will be playing his own new character and not a dummy. The rumor surfaced when Cody Walker’s name surfaced on the IMDB page for Fast & Furious 8. However, Polygon reached out to Universal Pictures, and the studio trashed the rumor, stating, “There’s no truth behind it.”

So as the movie is about to release we can assure that Paul’s character will not be back in Fast and Furious anymore and that is the best way to pay homage to the man who loved car and speed above anything! The movie is releasing on 14th April and it is already getting positive responses for the spectacular direction and the grand action scenes. This time the star cast too is grand with Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Kurt Russell, Scott Eastwood and Charlize Theron as the new villain.
